NARROW AND THIN EYEBROW IS OUT! ARAB EYEBROW IS IN!

Since 2010, the increase of eyebrow selfies from celebrities like Kim Kardashian has put the brows back into fashion. But this time, the thin and narrow eyebrow is not the trend anymore. The Arabic brow, with its large, dark, and perfectly defined shape has been the envy and aim of many women.

In the Middle East, however, threading and heavy brow have always been a feature in the Asian and Arab communities, where thin eyebrows have never been a real tendency. These cultures have shaped the growing idea that strong and shaped brows are more sensual and desirable. Arab women spend 3 to 4 hours a week maintaining their hair, in which eyebrow maintenance is a massive part of it.

Drawing on the Arabic eyebrow shape, techniques such as threading, tweezing, removal cream, and waxing cream are the most commonly used. Five products help achieve this look, which includes; a gel brush to absorb the black brow colour, a beige cream to outline and shape the brow, a black brow cream, and two angled brushes to shape the hard squares.

Working on maintaining a beautiful look with your eyebrows frames the face, giving expression as well as warmth and depth to our face and look. Eyebrows bring out our eyes, as we have seen Arab women’s intense and sensual look!

However, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Even though most Arab women consider it to be the perfect eyebrow choice, we should all be comfortable and do what makes us feel confident, either with or without Arab eyebrows!
