The dissolvable sutures of PDO threads are inserted under your skin. Once they dissolve, they allow collagen to grow in their place, allowing you to see long-lasting effects. The threads are inserted under the skin and give a structural template for the collagen to grow. It is helping to reduce the impact of lines and wrinkles on the face and smoker lines.

However, I usually find that the combination of treatments such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or Profhilo is an excellent complimentary treatment with the PDO threads to get rid of wrinkles above your lips.  It allows neo-vascularisation and collagen regeneration to happen through a growth factor release. Subsequently, in turn, it gives the treatments the best possible results. Instead of overusing dermal fillers that might make that area over full, PDO threads and PRP usually provide the best harmonious balance!
