This month I will be attending one of the most important aesthetic & anti-ageing Congress in the World! Colleagues from all over the World will be there. It will be a time to reconnect with some of them whom I also consider friends, but also to meet new ones and share our experiences and challenges.

This year, the theme of AMWC 2017 will maximize multidisciplinary approaches to promote and leap into the future of Aesthetic & Anti-ageing Medicine as a whole.

More than 300 companies will be there! I love discovering the latest products, technologies, and services that I could potentially provide for my patients. For a few days, I feel like a student again whenever I attend these conferences! For me, continuous education is essential so that I can stay up to date with the industry and, of course, provide my patients with the best!

I will also enjoy Monaco, one of the most glamorous destinations all year round! ?

I think that everyone should be able to feel happy and confident in their own skin, and a beautiful smile is an important part of that! It’s the first thing most people notice when they meet you and can have a big impact on their lasting impression of you. If I met someone who greeted me with a huge, healthy smile, for example, I would remember them as being really friendly and outgoing! If they didn’t smile much, I might think they were shy or upset.

This might be because our lips thin out when we smile, or because our teeth are particularly small, or simply because the muscle in our upper lip is hyperactive, meaning the lip comes up higher than usual. All these issues are actually very common! But a gummy smile can still make people feel incredibly self-conscious and uncomfortable.
